Drawers make it easy to keep your things organized.
It’s easy to keep the cords from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cord outlets at the back of the TV bench.
The cable outlet at the top lets cords run down smoothly into the TV bench.
The doors and drawer close silently and softly, thanks to the integrated soft-closing function.
It’s not only the TV that’s smart! BESTÅ TV units combine contemporary good looks with practical function. You get lots of storage space and relief from cables that tend to get messy and gather dust.

Posted on Feb 10, 2024I'm having trouble getting the drawers to stay open when I need them to. They keep closing shut even though I've pulled them out and held them in place. Is there a way to adjust or fix this issue?

Answered on Feb 12, 2024The issue you're experiencing with the drawers closing shut on the BESTÅ TV unit is likely due to the integrated soft-closing function. This feature is designed to ensure the drawers close silently and smoothly, but it can sometimes cause them to close too easily.
To fix this, you can try adjusting the soft-closing mechanism. First, locate the small screws or levers on the sides of the drawer tracks. Gently turn or adjust these to increase the resistance and make it easier to keep the drawers open. You may need to experiment a bit to find the right setting that allows the drawers to stay open as desired without being too difficult to close.
If the adjustments don't resolve the issue, you can also consider disabling the soft-closing function entirely. This will require removing the drawers and accessing the mechanism directly, but it should allow the drawers to stay open more easily

Posted on Dec 31, 2023I recently purchased the BESTÅ TV unit and I'm having trouble closing one of the drawers smoothly. The soft-closing function doesn't seem to be working as intended.
Is there a specific adjustment or maintenance task that I can perform to get it functioning properly again?

Posted on Aug 22, 2022I've assembled the Bestå TV unit, but I'm having trouble closing one of the drawers smoothly. It seems to be sticking a bit. Is there a trick to getting it to close silently and softly like the product description claims?

Answered on Aug 24, 2022To get the drawer on your BESTÅ TV unit to close smoothly and silently, try the following:
1. Check the drawer slides: Ensure the drawer slides are properly installed and not obstructed. Wipe down the slides with a clean cloth to remove any dirt or debris that may be causing friction.
2. Adjust the drawer alignment: There are small adjustments you can make to the drawer hinges or runners to align the drawer properly within the cabinet. Consult your assembly instructions for guidance on how to do this.
3. Lubricate the slides: Apply a small amount of silicone-based furniture polish or lubricant to the drawer slides. This will help reduce friction and allow the drawer to glide smoothly.
4. Check for obstructions: Make sure there are no obstructions, such as cables or items, preventing the drawer from closing fully. Clear any obstacles and try closing the drawer again.
