Posted on Jan 27, 2023I would like to know if the soft-closing function can be disabled or adjusted in some way, as sometimes it feels a bit too slow and gets stuck when closing the doors/drawer. Is there any way to adjust this?

Answered on Jan 29, 2023The soft-closing function on the BESTÅ TV unit doors and drawers can be adjusted or disabled. Here are the steps:
1. Open the door or drawer fully.
2. Locate the small plastic clip or lever on the inside of the door/drawer that controls the soft-closing mechanism.
3. To disable the soft-close, simply remove or disengage this clip/lever. This will allow the door/drawer to close at a faster, non-soft-close speed.
4. To adjust the soft-close speed, there may be a small screw or dial on the clip/lever that can be turned to increase or decrease the closing speed. Experiment with different settings to find your preferred speed.
