Posted on Jan 24, 2024I have a Besta TV unit with drawers, but the drawer runners are not adjustable as described in the product description. Is there any way to adjust them or is this a defect?

Answered on Jan 26, 2024The drawers on your BESTÅ TV unit should have adjustable drawer runners that allow you to adjust the front of the drawer both horizontally and in depth. If your drawers are not adjustable as described in the product details, this is likely a defect.
To resolve this, I would recommend contacting IKEA customer service. They should be able to assist you in getting replacement parts or arranging for a repair, as the adjustable drawer runners are an advertised feature of this product. With their help, you should be able to get your BESTÅ TV unit functioning as intended

Posted on Jul 28, 2023I have the BESTÅ TV unit and I'm having trouble with the drawers not sliding smoothly. The drawer runners seem to be stuck or uneven. Is there a way to adjust or lubricate them so they'll open and close more easily?

Answered on Jul 30, 2023To adjust the drawer runners on the BESTÅ TV unit so the drawers slide more smoothly:
1. First, fully extend the drawer to access the runners.
2. Locate the adjustment screws on the drawer runners. These are usually on the sides or underside of the runners.
3. Use a screwdriver to turn the adjustment screws clockwise or counter-clockwise. This will allow you to fine-tune the positioning of the runners.
4. Make small adjustments and test the drawer movement after each adjustment. Continue adjusting until the drawer is sliding smoothly.
5. If the runners are still sticking, you can also try lubricating them with a silicone-based furniture polish or lubricant. Apply a small amount and wipe away any excess.
Making these simple adjustments to the drawer runners should help resolve any issues with the drawers not sliding smoothly on your BESTÅ TV unit
