Posted on Oct 28, 2023I am having trouble with the drawer runners adjusting. They seem stuck and won't move when I try to adjust them horizontally or in depth. Are there any specific instructions on how to do this, or can you provide some tips to help me loosen them up?

Answered on Oct 30, 2023The drawer runners on the BESTÅ TV unit should be adjustable both horizontally and in depth. If they seem stuck and won't move, here are some tips to help loosen them up:
First, make sure the drawers are completely closed. Then, locate the small adjustment screws on the sides of the drawer runners. Using a screwdriver, try gently turning the adjustment screws a quarter turn in each direction to see if that frees up the movement.
If the runners are still stuck, you may need to remove the drawers completely to access the runners more easily. To do this, fully extend the drawer, then lift it up and out of the cabinet. With the drawer removed, you should be able to more freely adjust the runners as needed.

Answered on Aug 23, 2023To adjust the drawer runners horizontally and in-depth on the BESTÅ TV unit:
1. Locate the adjustment screws on the drawer runners. There should be one screw on each side of the drawer runner.
2. To adjust the drawer horizontally, turn the adjustment screws clockwise or counterclockwise. Turning them clockwise will move the drawer inward, while turning them counterclockwise will move the drawer outward.
3. To adjust the drawer in-depth, there are additional adjustment screws located at the front of the drawer runners. Turn these screws clockwise to move the drawer forward, or counterclockwise to move it backward.
4. Make small adjustments at a time, testing the drawer movement after each adjustment. This will allow you to get the drawer aligned and operating smoothly.
5. Once you have the drawer positioned as desired, make sure to tighten all the adjustment screws securely to lock the drawer in place.

Answered on Oct 10, 2022Yes, the BESTÅ TV unit can be attached directly to the wall. IKEA recommends using the BESTÅ wall attachment fittings to securely mount the TV unit to the wall. These fittings are included with the BESTÅ TV unit and are designed specifically for this purpose.
To attach the TV unit to the wall, you will need to:
1. Locate the wall studs where you want to mount the unit.
2. Use the wall attachment fittings to mark the wall where the screws need to be placed.
3. Drill pilot holes into the wall at the marked locations.
4. Secure the wall attachment fittings to the wall using appropriate wall screws.
