Posted on Apr 03, 2024I've noticed that the doors on my Bestå TV unit are not aligning properly, and there's a small gap between them when they're closed. Is it possible to adjust or replace the hinges to fix this issue?

Answered on Apr 05, 2024To adjust the doors on your BESTÅ TV unit and align them properly, you can follow these steps:
1. First, check if the hinges are loose. Tighten the screws on the hinges to ensure they are securely in place.
2. If the doors are still not aligning, you can try adjusting the hinges. There are typically three adjustment screws on each hinge - one for height, one for depth, and one for width.
3. Loosen the screws slightly, then adjust the door by moving it in the direction needed to align it properly. Tighten the screws back up once the door is aligned.
4. If the hinges are worn out and cannot be adjusted further, you can replace the hinges. Replacement BESTÅ hinges are available from IKEA. Simply remove the old hinges and install the new ones following the instructions.
