RIKSVIKEN front has a subtle sheen that adds depth and luster to your home.
The drawer has an integrated push-opener, so you don’t need handles or knobs and it will open with just a light push.
The drawer runners are adjustable so you can adjust the front both horizontally and in depth.
It’s easy to keep the cords from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cord outlets at the back of the TV bench.
The two drawers make it easy to keep remote controls, game controls and other TV accessories organized.
Adjustable feet make the TV bench stand evenly on an uneven floor.
Optimize and organize your BESTÅ storage with boxes and inserts that you like.
It’s not only the TV that’s smart! BESTÅ TV units combine contemporary good looks with practical function. You get lots of storage space and relief from cables that tend to get messy and gather dust.

Posted on Jan 20, 2024I recently purchased the BESTÅ TV unit and I'm having trouble with the drawers not sliding smoothly. They seem to get stuck or catch on something, even though the drawer runners are adjustable. Can you provide some troubleshooting tips or suggest any possible solutions?

Answered on Jan 22, 2024The issue with the drawers not sliding smoothly on your BESTÅ TV unit could be due to a few potential reasons:
1. Drawer alignment: Ensure the drawers are properly aligned within the cabinet frame. The adjustable drawer runners allow you to adjust the drawer position both horizontally and in depth. Try adjusting the drawer alignment to see if that improves the smooth operation.
2. Obstruction in the drawer runners: Check if there is any debris or obstruction in the drawer runners that could be causing the drawers to catch. Wipe down the runners with a clean, dry cloth to remove any dirt or dust buildup.
3. Overloading the drawers: Make sure you are not exceeding the maximum load capacity of the drawers, which is 22 lb (10 kg) per drawer. Overloading the drawers can cause them to bind and not slide smoothly.
4. Drawer runner adjustment: If the above steps don't resolve the issue, you may need to further adjust the drawer runners. Refer to the assembly instructions or contact IKEA for guidance on properly adjusting the drawer runners.
By addressing these potential causes, you should be able to get your BESTÅ TV unit drawers sliding smoothly again

Posted on Jul 11, 2022I'm having trouble with the drawers not sliding smoothly. They seem to get stuck sometimes and it's hard to open/close them. What could be the cause of this issue and is there a way to fix it?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jul 13, 2022The most likely cause of the drawer sticking issue is that the drawer runners need to be adjusted. The BESTÅ TV unit has adjustable drawer runners that allow you to fine-tune the horizontal and depth positioning of the drawers.
To fix this:
1. Pull the drawer out completely.
2. Locate the adjustment screws on the drawer runners. These are typically on the sides of the runners.
3. Use a screwdriver to adjust the screws. Turn them clockwise to move the drawer front outwards, or counterclockwise to move it inwards.
4. Test the drawer movement and continue adjusting until it slides smoothly.
You can also try lubricating the drawer runners with a silicone-based furniture polish or lubricant. This can help reduce friction and allow the drawers to open and close more easily.
If the issue persists after adjusting the runners, there may be an issue with the drawer construction or installation. In that case, you may need to contact IKEA for further assistance
