BJÖRKÖVIKEN front is made of oak veneer, giving each door a sense of quality with a natural expression.
The drawer has an integrated push-opener, so you don’t need handles or knobs and it will open with just a light push.
The drawer runners are adjustable so you can adjust the front both horizontally and in depth.
It’s easy to keep the cords from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cord outlets at the back of the TV bench.
The two drawers make it easy to keep remote controls, game controls and other TV accessories organized.
Adjustable feet make the TV bench stand evenly on an uneven floor.
Optimize and organize your BESTÅ storage with boxes and inserts that you like.
It’s not only the TV that’s smart! BESTÅ TV units combine contemporary good looks with practical function. You get lots of storage space and relief from cables that tend to get messy and gather dust.

Posted on May 15, 2023I would like to know if I can adjust the drawer runners to make the drawers slide out more smoothly or quieter, as they seem a bit stiff when opened/closed
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on May 17, 2023Yes, you can adjust the drawer runners to make the drawers slide out more smoothly and quietly. The product description states that the drawer runners are adjustable, so you can adjust the front of the drawers both horizontally and in depth. This allows you to fine-tune the fit and movement of the drawers. Try gently adjusting the runners to find the optimal setting for smooth and quiet drawer operation

Posted on Aug 21, 2022I've noticed that the top panel of my BESTÅ TV unit has a slight dent, which I'm worried might affect its structural integrity. How do I fix this?
Should I use a special type of adhesive or is there another solution to prevent it from getting worse?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Aug 23, 2022To fix the dent in the top panel of your BESTÅ TV unit, you can try the following:
First, inspect the dent closely to determine its size and depth. If it's a minor dent, you may be able to gently push it back into place using your hands or a soft-faced hammer. Be careful not to apply too much force, as this could cause further damage.
If the dent is more significant, you can try using a wood filler or putty to fill the indentation. Apply the filler according to the manufacturer's instructions, allow it to dry, and then sand the area smooth. This will help restore the surface and prevent the dent from getting worse.
Avoid using adhesives, as they may not provide a long-term solution and could potentially cause more damage to the wood veneer. Instead, focus on gently reshaping the panel or filling the dent to maintain the structural integrity of the TV unit.
If the dent is severe or you're unsure about the best approach, you may want to consider contacting IKEA customer service for further guidance. They may be able to provide additional recommendations or offer a replacement part if necessary
