Answered on Apr 18, 2023The BESTÅ TV unit with drawers and door, white/Hedeviken oak veneer, can be used in a corner of the room. The side panels do not need to be attached to a wall for stability. The unit is designed to stand on its own with the adjustable feet, which allow it to stand evenly on an uneven floor. However, for added stability, you can attach the side panels to each other using the included hardware. This will help secure the unit in the corner and prevent it from tipping over
