Answered on Jun 15, 2023To adjust the shelves, simply lift the shelf up and out of the shelf supports. The shelf supports have pre-drilled holes at different heights, allowing you to position the shelves at your desired level. No special tools are needed - you can adjust the shelves by hand. Just make sure to evenly distribute the weight on the shelves to avoid overloading them. The maximum weight capacity per shelf is 44 lbs (20 kg)

Posted on Mar 24, 2023I recently purchased this BESTÅ storage combination and I'm having trouble with the doors. They are not closing properly, there is a gap at the bottom. Is it normal for there to be a small gap or is there something wrong with my unit?

Answered on Mar 26, 2023The small gap at the bottom of the doors is normal for this BESTÅ storage combination. The adjustable hinges allow you to fine-tune the door alignment to minimize any gaps. Here are the steps to adjust the doors:
1. Loosen the screws on the hinges slightly to allow the doors to move.
2. Close the doors and check the alignment, paying attention to any gaps at the top, bottom or sides.
3. Adjust the door position by shifting it horizontally or vertically as needed using the adjustment screws on the hinges.
4. Once the doors are aligned properly, tighten the hinge screws to secure the doors in place.
