Posted on Jun 18, 2023I recently purchased the Söderhamn ottoman and I'm having trouble putting on the Samsta orange cover. It seems like the elasticized edges are not stretchy enough to fit around the ottoman, even though I followed the instructions. Is there a way to stretch or adjust the elastic so that it fits properly?

Answered on Jun 20, 2023The elasticized edges of the Samsta cover may need some extra stretching to fit properly around the Söderhamn ottoman. Try the following:
1. Lay the cover flat and gently pull on the elastic edges to stretch them out a bit before attempting to put it on the ottoman.
2. Once on the ottoman, you can also try carefully pulling and stretching the elastic edges while the cover is in place to get a tighter fit.
3. If the elastic still doesn't seem stretchy enough, you can try using a blow dryer on a low heat setting to warm up the fabric, which may make the elastic more pliable and easier to stretch.
Take your time and don't force the cover, as that could damage the elastic. With a little gentle stretching, you should be able to get the Samsta cover to fit snugly around the Söderhamn ottoman

Answered on May 18, 2023To get the cover on smoothly, first ensure the ottoman is completely empty and the cover is unzipped. Gently stretch the cover over the ottoman, starting with the corners and working your way around. Make sure there are no wrinkles or bunching as you pull the cover into place. Once the cover is on, zip it up slowly and evenly to ensure a snug fit. If you're still having trouble, try using a little bit of fabric softener or conditioner on the cover to help it slide on more easily

Posted on Dec 24, 2022I've had my Söderhamn ottoman for a few years now, but the original cover has gotten worn out. Can I use this Samsta orange cover on my existing ottoman? Does it come with any additional hardware or clips to attach it securely?
