Posted on Jan 26, 2024I'm having trouble opening the drawers smoothly and quietly as described in the product description. The drawers seem to be sticking a bit when I pull them out or push them back in. Is there something I can do to lubricate the drawer slides or is this a common issue with these cabinets?

Answered on Feb 28, 2023The most likely cause of the drawer not closing smoothly and quietly is that the drawer runners or slides need adjustment. The MAXIMERA drawers have built-in dampers that should allow the drawer to close slowly and softly, but if the runners are not properly aligned, it can prevent this feature from working correctly.
To fix this, you'll want to first check that the drawer is installed properly and the runners are aligned. Ensure the drawer is level and not binding anywhere along the track. You may need to make minor adjustments to the drawer alignment screws to get the smooth, quiet closing action.
If the alignment seems correct, you can also try lubricating the drawer runners with a silicone-based lubricant. This can help the drawer glide smoothly and engage the damper mechanism properly. Avoid using oil-based lubricants as they can attract dust and grime over time.
With some minor adjustments, you should be able to restore the smooth, quiet closing of your MAXIMERA drawer

Posted on Sep 15, 2022I'm having some trouble with the drawer glides on my SEKTION cabinet. They seem to be getting stuck and it's hard to open/close them smoothly.
Is there a trick or technique I can use to clean/maintain them, or should I consider replacing them?
