Posted on Nov 10, 2023I am having trouble removing the STOCKSUND Cover from my loveseat. The clips at the bottom won't come undone. Is there a trick or tool that I can use to remove it?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Nov 12, 2023To remove the STOCKSUND cover from your loveseat, try the following:
First, locate the clips at the bottom of the cover. Gently pull and twist each clip to release it from the loveseat frame. You may need to use a flat-head screwdriver or a butter knife to help pry the clips open if they are stuck.
Once all the clips are released, slowly lift the cover up and off the loveseat. Be careful not to pull too hard, as this could damage the fabric or the frame.
If you're still having trouble, check for any hidden fasteners or velcro strips that may be securing the cover in place. Gently inspect the underside of the loveseat to identify any additional attachment points.
With a little patience and the right tools, you should be able to successfully remove the STOCKSUND cover from your loveseat

Posted on Oct 05, 2023I bought this Stocksund cover for my loveseat and I love the design! However, after washing it once, the stitching started to come undone in some places. Is there a way to re-stitch or repair this issue? Can I get replacement thread or a sewing kit from Ikea or somewhere else?

Answered on Oct 07, 2023To repair the stitching on your STOCKSUND cover, you can purchase a sewing kit or replacement thread from a local fabric or craft store. Carefully inspect the areas where the stitching has come undone and use a needle and thread to re-stitch those sections, ensuring the stitches are tight and secure. Be gentle to avoid further damage to the fabric. If the damage is extensive, you may want to consider taking the cover to a professional seamstress for a more thorough repair. With some basic sewing skills, you should be able to fix the stitching and get your STOCKSUND cover looking good as new
