Posted on Nov 01, 2023I just assembled the SEKTION high cabinet with door and wire baskets. When I close the door, it hits the frame slightly. Is there a way to adjust the door damper or is there another solution to prevent this from happening?

Answered on Nov 03, 2023To adjust the door and prevent it from hitting the frame, you can try the following:
1. Check the door hinges: Ensure the hinges are properly installed and tightened. You may need to loosen the hinge screws slightly, adjust the door position, then retighten the screws.
2. Adjust the door damper: The door damper is designed to slow down the closing motion of the door. Try adjusting the damper by turning the adjustment screw clockwise to increase the resistance and slow down the door closing.
3. Adjust the door alignment: If the above steps don't work, you may need to adjust the door alignment. Look for any screws or mechanisms that allow you to shift the door slightly left, right, up or down to find the perfect fit.
Refer to the assembly instructions or contact IKEA customer service if you need further assistance with adjusting the door on your SEKTION high cabinet

Answered on Sep 21, 2022The wire baskets in the SEKTION High cabinet with door/wire baskets are smooth-running and have a pull-out stop, but they are not adjustable in height. The baskets are fixed in place within the cabinet frame
