Posted on Dec 30, 2023I am having trouble removing the KIVIK Cover for corner section, Tallmyra white/black from my couch. The tabs on the back of the cover won't come off from the couch frame.
Is there a trick or a specific way to remove them without damaging the fabric?

Answered on Jan 01, 2024To remove the KIVIK cover without damaging the fabric, first locate the zipper on the back of the cover. Fully unzip the zipper to detach the cover from the frame. Then, gently pull and tug at the cover, starting from the corners, to slowly work it off the frame. Avoid pulling too hard, as this could tear the fabric. If the cover is still difficult to remove, you can try using a flat tool, like a butter knife, to carefully pry the cover off the frame, being cautious not to scratch the surface. Take your time and work slowly to ensure a safe removal

Posted on Mar 18, 2023I'm having trouble removing the Kivik corner section cover, specifically the one with the Tallmyra white/black fabric. The seams seem stuck together and I'm worried about damaging the fabric if I force it too much. Are there any tips on how to remove it without damaging the cover?

Answered on Mar 20, 2023To remove the KIVIK cover without damaging the fabric, start by carefully inspecting the seams. Look for any zippers or velcro fasteners that may be securing the cover in place. Gently work your fingers under the cover and try to locate where it is attached to the frame. Slowly and gently peel the cover away, taking care not to pull or stretch the fabric. If you encounter any resistance, stop and re-examine the attachment points. With patience and care, you should be able to safely remove the cover for washing without causing any damage
