Posted on Feb 18, 2023I'm having trouble opening the storage compartment under the chaise section. The lid seems stuck and I've tried wiggling it gently, but nothing is working. Are there any special techniques or tricks to get the lid open?

Answered on Feb 20, 2023To open the storage compartment under the chaise section, first ensure that the chaise is in the fully extended position. There may be some resistance when opening the lid due to the weight of the mattress or any items stored inside. Try applying a bit more force to lift the lid, being careful not to pull it up too quickly. If it still does not open, check that there are no obstructions or debris preventing the lid from moving freely. You can also try tapping the lid lightly along the edges to help release it. If the issue persists, refer to the assembly instructions or contact IKEA customer service for further assistance
