Posted on Dec 13, 2023Can the drawers be removed or rearranged in any way? I'm interested in using the bed frame without the storage, but still need a solution for under-bed storage.

Answered on Dec 15, 2023The drawers on the NORDLI bed frame can be removed if you don't need the storage functionality. The bed frame itself can be used without the drawers installed. To access the under-bed space for additional storage, you can simply leave the drawers out. This will provide an open space underneath the bed that you can utilize for storing items. The bed frame is designed to accommodate the drawers, but they are not permanently attached, so you have the flexibility to use the bed with or without the storage drawers as needed

Posted on Aug 31, 2023I'm having trouble with the drawer system. The drawers are very difficult to open and close, they seem stuck. Is there a specific way I should be opening or closing them? Or is it possible that something may have come loose during assembly? Can you provide any troubleshooting steps or replacement parts if needed?

Answered on Sep 02, 2023The issue with the drawers being difficult to open and close is likely due to the drawer slides not being properly installed or aligned during assembly. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Check the drawer slides: Ensure the slides are properly secured to both the drawer and the bed frame. Tighten any loose screws or bolts.
2. Lubricate the slides: Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the moving parts of the drawer slides. This will help them glide smoothly.
3. Adjust the drawer alignment: If the drawers are still sticking, you may need to adjust the alignment. Locate the adjustment screws on the drawer slides and make small adjustments until the drawers open and close easily.
4. Replace the drawer slides: If the slides are damaged or worn, you may need to replace them. Contact IKEA customer service to inquire about replacement parts.
Following these steps should help resolve the issue with the drawers. Let me know if you have any other questions
