Posted on Mar 07, 2023I have a Billy bookcase with glass doors, but the hinges are loose and the doors don't stay shut properly. Are there any screws or parts available to tighten them?

Answered on Mar 09, 2023The BILLY bookcase with glass doors has adjustable hinges that can be tightened to fix loose doors. Here are the steps to tighten the hinges:
1. Locate the small screws on the hinges that attach the door to the bookcase frame. These are typically Phillips head screws.
2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, tighten the screws on the hinges to secure the door in place. Do not overtighten.
3. If the door is still loose, you can also try adjusting the hinges by turning the adjustment screws on the hinges. This will allow you to shift the door position horizontally and vertically to get a proper fit.
4. Once the door is properly aligned and secure, test to ensure it stays shut properly.
