Answered on Jan 10, 2023The legs on the STÄLL shoe cabinet should be securely attached to the front of the cabinet. If they are loose and keep falling off, there may be an issue with the hardware or the way they were installed.
To properly attach the legs:
1. Ensure all the necessary screws, bolts, or other hardware provided in the assembly instructions are used to secure the legs to the cabinet frame.
2. Double-check that the legs are aligned correctly and the attachment points on the cabinet are not damaged.
3. Tighten all hardware connections firmly to prevent the legs from becoming loose over time.
If you continue to have issues with the legs, I would recommend reviewing the assembly instructions carefully or contacting IKEA customer support for further assistance. They should be able to provide guidance on the proper installation to ensure the legs are securely attached

Posted on Jul 19, 2022I've noticed that the shoe cabinet's legs are only at the front, which is great for accessing and cleaning under it. However, I'm having trouble getting my shoes in and out of the compartments due to the limited clearance.
Is there a way to adjust or modify the cabinet to allow for easier access?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jul 21, 2022To allow for easier access to the shoe compartments, you can try the following:
1. Adjust the leveling of the cabinet. The cabinet legs have adjustable levelers that can be turned to raise or lower the cabinet. Try adjusting the levelers to increase the clearance between the bottom shelf and the floor.
2. Install taller legs or risers. You can purchase taller replacement legs or use small risers to lift the cabinet up, providing more clearance underneath.
3. Modify the bottom shelf. If you're handy, you could carefully remove the bottom shelf and trim it down slightly to increase the vertical space in the compartments. Just be sure not to compromise the structural integrity of the cabinet.
4. Consider using shorter or more compact shoes. Choosing footwear that takes up less vertical space can make it easier to access the compartments.
The key is finding the right balance between clearance and stability. Start with adjusting the levelers, and if that doesn't provide enough space, look into adding taller legs or making minor modifications to the cabinet itself
