You can easily adjust the height of the desk between 27½" and 47¼" by just cranking the handle and get the best position for both sitting and standing.

Changing positions between sitting and standing helps you move your body so you both feel and work better.

Comfortable for left- and right-handers, as the crank handle can be mounted on the left or right side.

The crank handle slides in under the table top when not in use for a clean, uncluttered look.

Adjustable feet make the desk stand steady also on uneven floors.

I recently purchased the TROTTEN desk sit/stand and I'm having trouble adjusting the height. The handle seems to be stuck and won't budge. Are there any specific instructions or tips that you can provide to help me adjust the height smoothly?

To adjust the height of the TROTTEN desk smoothly, first ensure the crank handle is properly installed. The handle should slide in and out easily. If it's stuck, try the following:

1. Make sure the desk is not overloaded. The maximum weight capacity is 110 lb (50 kg). Reduce any heavy items on the desk.

2. Check if the crank handle is properly aligned with the adjustment mechanism. The handle should fit snugly into the slot.

3. Gently rock the handle back and forth while turning it to help loosen any binding. Don't force it.

4. Ensure the adjustable feet are making full contact with the floor. Uneven surfaces can cause the mechanism to bind.

5. As a last resort, you may need to access the internal adjustment mechanism. Consult the assembly instructions or contact IKEA customer service for further guidance.
