Posted on Jan 01, 2023I'm having some issues with the drawer slides, they seem to be stuck and difficult to open/close. Is there a specific lubricant or maintenance routine I should follow to keep them running smoothly?

Answered on Jan 03, 2023To keep the drawer slides running smoothly on your ERSNÄS sideboard, you can try the following:
Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the drawer slides. This will help reduce friction and allow the drawers to open and close more easily. Avoid using oil-based lubricants as they can attract dust and dirt.
Ensure the drawers are properly aligned within the cabinet frame. Over time, the drawers can become misaligned, causing them to stick. Try adjusting the drawer hinges or slides to get the drawers back into the correct position.
Check that the drawers are not overloaded. Excessive weight can put strain on the slides and cause them to stick. Redistribute the contents of the drawers to reduce the load.
With some basic maintenance, you should be able to keep your ERSNÄS sideboard's drawers operating smoothly. Let me know if you have any other questions
