Posted on Feb 26, 2024I'd like to know if there's a way to remove the double-sided tape without damaging the mirror or the wall. I'm planning to move and would like to take the mirrors with me, but don't want to leave residue on either surface.

Answered on Feb 28, 2024To remove the double-sided tape from the BLODLÖNN mirror without damaging the mirror or the wall, try the following:
1. Use a hairdryer to gently heat the tape. The heat will help soften the adhesive.
2. Slowly peel the mirror off the wall, starting from one corner. Go slowly and avoid pulling too hard.
3. If there is any adhesive residue left on the mirror or wall, use a small amount of Goo Gone or similar adhesive remover. Apply it to the residue and let it sit for a few minutes before wiping it away.
4. Wipe the mirror and wall clean with a damp cloth to remove any remaining Goo Gone or adhesive.
This should allow you to safely remove the BLODLÖNN mirror without causing any damage. Take your time and work slowly for the best results

Posted on Dec 18, 2023I have a question about the double-sided tape provided with the Bloendlön mirror. How strong is it and will it hold the weight of the mirror on my wall, considering I plan to create a large mirror by adding multiple squares together?

Answered on Dec 20, 2023The double-sided tape included with the BLODLÖNN mirror is designed to securely hold the weight of the individual mirror squares. Each square weighs approximately 1.5 lbs (0.7 kg). When combining multiple squares to create a larger mirror, the tape should have sufficient adhesive strength to support the total weight, as long as the wall surface is clean, dry and smooth. However, for larger configurations, I would recommend using additional wall anchors or fixtures to provide extra support and ensure the mirror assembly remains firmly in place over time. This will help prevent the mirrors from shifting or detaching from the wall
