Posted on Feb 14, 2023I have installed the Översidan LED wardrobe lighting strip, but I am having issues with the dimming feature. It doesn't seem to be working properly and the light is either fully on or off. Have you had any similar experiences or know of a solution to fix this issue?

Answered on Feb 16, 2023The dimming feature on the ÖVERSIDAN LED wardrobe lighting strip may not be working properly due to a few potential issues:
1. Ensure the lighting strip is properly connected to the power source and the sensor is functioning correctly. Check all cable connections and make sure there are no loose or damaged wires.
2. Verify that the dimming function is enabled on the sensor. There may be a switch or button on the sensor that needs to be activated for dimming to work.
3. Try resetting the sensor by disconnecting the power for 30 seconds, then reconnecting it. This can sometimes resolve dimming issues.
4. Check if the lighting strip is compatible with the type of dimmer you are using. The ÖVERSIDAN is designed to work with wireless dimmers, so a wired dimmer may not function properly.
If the dimming still does not work after trying these troubleshooting steps, there may be an issue with the sensor or the LED strip itself. In that case, I would recommend contacting IKEA customer service for further assistance
