Each lamp is unique since it is made of bamboo with natural color variations and is hand-woven by skilled craftspeople.
When we developed the MISTERHULT lamp series, we let parts of the bamboo plant, that otherwise would be discarded, become part of the expression ― meaning we harness each plant more than twice as much.
The idea with MISTERHULT was to make a lamp with a minimal environmental footprint. By letting bamboo, that otherwise would be discarded, enhance the lamp’s expression, we harness the plant more than twice as much.

Answered on Jul 06, 2023To install and hang the MISTERHULT pendant lamp, follow these steps:
1. Locate a suitable spot in your living room to hang the lamp. Ensure there is enough clearance around the 18-inch shade diameter.
2. Attach the ceiling mount securely to the ceiling, making sure it can support the weight of the lamp.
3. Feed the electrical cord through the ceiling mount and connect the wires according to the included instructions. Ensure proper grounding.
4. Carefully lift the lamp shade and attach it to the ceiling mount, twisting it into place. Make any necessary adjustments to the cord length.
5. Once the lamp is securely mounted, you can plug it in and turn it on to enjoy the soft, warm glow of the bamboo shade.
Be mindful of the 13W maximum wattage when selecting a compatible light bulb. The natural variations in the handwoven bamboo will create a unique lighting effect in your living room
