I've been using the Örfjäll swivel chair for a while now and I'm having some issues with the brakes on the casters. They seem to be malfunctioning and not releasing properly when I sit down. Is there a way to adjust or clean the brake mechanism to get it working again?

To troubleshoot the issue with the brake mechanism on your ÖRFJÄLL swivel chair, here are the steps you can try:

1. Check for any debris or obstructions around the casters. Use a small brush or cloth to clean the area around the casters and the brake mechanism.

2. If the casters are still not releasing properly, you can try adjusting the brake tension. Locate the small screws on the underside of the chair base that control the brake tension. Gently turn these screws counterclockwise to loosen the brake.

3. Test the casters again to see if the brakes are now releasing as intended when you sit down. If needed, make small adjustments to the brake tension screws until the brakes are functioning correctly.

I'm considering purchasing the Örfjäll Swivel chair, but I have some questions before making a decision. Can you please confirm if the casters are lockable in place when not in use? Additionally, what is the material used for the seat and backrest? Is it fabric or mesh, or something else?

The ÖRFJÄLL Swivel chair has safety casters with a pressure-sensitive brake mechanism.
