Posted on Dec 26, 2023I've been using the TROTTEN desk for a few weeks now, but I'm having some issues with the drawers. The top drawer won't slide in properly and keeps getting stuck. What can I do to fix this?

Answered on Dec 28, 2023The issue with the top drawer on your TROTTEN desk getting stuck is likely due to misalignment or obstructions in the drawer slides. Here are a few steps you can try to fix the problem:
1. Check the drawer slides: Ensure the drawer slides are properly installed and not damaged. Make sure there are no obstructions or debris preventing the drawer from sliding smoothly.
2. Adjust the drawer alignment: The drawer may be slightly misaligned. Try gently adjusting the drawer by loosening the screws that attach it to the slides, then realigning and retightening the screws.
3. Lubricate the drawer slides: Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the drawer slides. This can help reduce friction and allow the drawer to slide more smoothly.
4. Inspect the drawer bottom: Check if the bottom of the drawer is warped or damaged, as this can cause it to get stuck. If necessary, you may need to replace the drawer.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, please contact IKEA customer service for further assistance. They should be able to provide additional troubleshooting advice or arrange for a replacement part if needed
