Posted on Apr 03, 2024I'm having trouble installing the Grillskär back panel. The screws provided do not seem to be long enough to secure it properly to the wall. Are there any longer screws available for purchase or an alternative solution to ensure the panel is securely attached?

Answered on Apr 05, 2024The screws provided with the GRILLSKÄR back panel may not be long enough in some installation scenarios, especially if mounting to a wall with thicker materials. Here are a few suggestions to ensure a secure installation:
Look for longer screws that are compatible with the wall material. Standard 3-4 inch wood screws or masonry screws may work better to provide a sturdy mount. Make sure the screws can properly anchor into the wall structure.
Another option is to use wall anchors designed for hollow walls or drywall. The anchors will allow you to use shorter screws while still getting a secure hold in the wall.
If the wall material is very thick, you could also consider using toggle bolts. These expand inside the wall cavity to create a strong attachment point.
Whichever route you choose, be sure to pre-drill holes to prevent the wood from splitting. Test the stability of the mounted back panel before fully loading it with accessories
