Answered on Jan 19, 2024To replace or re-stuff the seat and backrest padding on the BJÖRKBERGET chair, you will need to remove the cover. The cover is removable and machine washable, which makes this process easier.
First, unzip the cover and carefully remove it from the chair. You can then assess the condition of the padding inside. If it is significantly worn or flat, you can purchase replacement foam padding from an upholstery supply store that matches the original thickness and shape.
Carefully insert the new padding back into the cover, making sure it fits snugly. You may need to trim the foam to get the right fit. Once the new padding is in place, simply zip the cover back on to the chair frame.
