Posted on Jul 20, 2023I'm having trouble disassembling the umbrella base to move it around. The parts seem stuck and won't come apart easily. What is the recommended way to remove the parts without damaging them?

Answered on Jul 22, 2023To disassemble the SVARTÖ umbrella base without damaging the parts, follow these steps:
1. Completely remove any sand or weight from inside the base. This will make it much easier to separate the parts.
2. Locate the clips or connectors that hold the 4 parts of the base together. Gently squeeze or press on these to release the connections.
3. Once the clips are disengaged, slowly and carefully pull the parts apart, being mindful not to force them. The parts should come apart relatively easily without excessive force.
4. If a part seems stuck, double-check that the clip is fully released before trying to separate it again.
5. After disassembling, store the base parts safely until you are ready to reassemble and move the umbrella base to a new location
