The LACK side table is designed for easy assembly without any screws or other separate hardware. Here are the steps to attach the legs to the table top:

1. Locate the four leg pieces and the table top. The legs have pre-installed metal inserts that fit into the corresponding holes on the underside of the table top.

2. Simply press each leg firmly into the holes on the table top. The metal inserts on the legs will click into place securely without any tools required.

3. Make sure all four legs are fully inserted and the table is stable before placing it upright.

That's all there is to it! The LACK table's unique construction allows for quick and tool-free assembly. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask

Can I use this side table outdoors, or is it only meant for indoor use?

The LACK side table is designed for indoor use only and should not be used outdoors. The honeycomb paper construction makes it lightweight but not suitable for outdoor environments. Exposure to moisture, sunlight, and other outdoor elements could damage the table over time. It's best to use this LACK side table inside your home where it can be protected from the weather

To replace the cracked top surface of the LACK side table, you will need to follow these steps:

1. Carefully remove the existing top surface. This may require unscrewing or prying it off gently.

2. Obtain a replacement top surface. You can order a replacement part directly from IKEA or purchase a suitable replacement that matches the dimensions of the original top.

3. Align the new top surface with the table frame and secure it in place. This may involve screwing it on or using adhesive, depending on the attachment method.

4. Ensure the new top is level and firmly attached to the table frame.

5. If necessary, adjust any other components to ensure the table is stable and functions properly.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully replace the cracked top surface and restore your LACK side table to full functionality
