First, make sure you have all the necessary parts and hardware. The frame comes with guide rails that the shelves and boxes slide into. To attach the shelves, align the edges of the shelf with the guide rails on the frame and gently push the shelf into place. You may need to apply a bit of pressure to get it to click in securely.
