Posted on Sep 02, 2022I have the Hauga upholstered bed frame in beige and I love it. However, after a year of use, the fabric is starting to show some signs of wear and tear. Can I get a replacement cover for the headboard and footboard? If so, where can I find it or how can I order one?

Answered on Sep 04, 2022Unfortunately, the HAUGA upholstered bed frame does not have a removable cover for the headboard and footboard. The fabric is an integrated part of the bed frame design.
To address the wear and tear on the fabric, your best option would be to contact IKEA customer service. They may be able to provide guidance on repair or replacement options, even though the bed frame is no longer under warranty.
Some potential solutions IKEA may suggest include:
- Spot cleaning the fabric to remove any stains or dirt
- Applying a fabric protection spray to help maintain the fabric
- Ordering replacement parts, such as the headboard or footboard, if available
- Exploring the possibility of re-upholstering the existing frame, though this would likely be a more involved and costly process.
I'd recommend reaching out to IKEA to discuss the specific issue you're experiencing and see what options they can provide to help extend the life of your HAUGA bed frame
