Posted on Dec 14, 2023I would like to know if the daybed can be converted into a sofa with storage without removing the mattresses, or do I need to remove them first? Additionally, are the drawers accessible when the bed is in its folded position?

Posted on Apr 19, 2023I've just set up the Hemnes daybed and I love it! However, I'm having some issues with the drawers. They seem to be quite stiff and hard to open/close smoothly.
Is there a trick or technique to making them easier to use?

Answered on Apr 21, 2023To make the drawers on your HEMNES daybed open and close more smoothly, here are a few tips:
First, check that the drawers are properly installed and aligned. Ensure the drawer slides are securely attached and the drawers are sitting level in the frame. This will help them glide more easily.
Next, try lubricating the drawer slides. You can use a silicone-based furniture polish or a dry lubricant spray designed for drawers and cabinets. Apply a small amount to the slides and wipe away any excess. This will reduce friction and make the drawers operate more smoothly.
If the drawers are still stiff, you can also try adjusting the tension on the drawer slides. There are usually small screws or levers that allow you to fine-tune the slide tension. Gently loosen them until the drawers open and close with less resistance.
