This comfortable sofa has pocket spring seat cushions with high resilience foam and a top layer of wadding. It provides a nice comfort and support for your body while maintaining the shape of the seat cushions.
The sofa's sections can be combined in different ways to get a size and shape that suits you. If you need a larger sofa, you can add a section or two.
Storage space under the chaise. The lid stays open so you can safely and easily take things in and out.
You can place the chaise section to the left or right of the sofa, and switch whenever you like.
The sleeper sofa has a 4¾" thick bed mattress in high resilience foam that provides comfortable support to your body and a smooth sleeping surface without disturbing joints.
The bed slats work together with the mattress to give a more flexible comfort and nice sleep support.
This sofa converts quickly and easily into a spacious bed when you remove the back cushions and pull out the underframe. You can use the sofa's back cushions to get a comfortable back support to lean against in the bed.
The mattress is easy to keep clean since you can remove the mattress cover and machine wash it.
This cover is made of dope-dyed Gunnared fabric in polyester. It is a durable fabric with a wool-like feel, a warm look and a two-toned mélange effect.

Posted on Dec 23, 2023I've had my Finnala sleeper sofa for about a year now, and I'm starting to notice that the bed slats are becoming loose. Is there any way to tighten them or replace them if needed?

Answered on Dec 25, 2023To tighten the bed slats on your FINNALA sleeper sofa, you can try the following steps:
1. Locate the bed slats underneath the sofa. They should be resting on supports or rails.
2. Check each slat individually to see if any are loose. Gently push or pull on each one to identify the loose ones.
3. For the loose slats, you can try tightening them by locating the small screws or brackets that hold them in place. Tighten these screws or brackets to secure the slat.
4. If the screws or brackets are worn out, you may need to replace them. You can purchase replacement bed slat hardware from IKEA.
5. Once you've tightened or replaced the loose slats, test the bed frame to ensure all slats are now secure.
If the slats continue to loosen over time, you may need to replace the entire set of bed slats. Replacement slats are available from IKEA as spare parts for the FINNALA series. Follow the instructions provided with the new slats to properly install them

Posted on Jun 23, 2023I'm interested in buying this sofa, but I have a few questions. Can the sleeper bed be used without having to remove the back cushions? Is there any way to adjust the firmness of the mattress or is it fixed? Additionally, how does the fabric handle stains and spills? Finally, are the storage space under the chaise section accessible when the sofa is converted into a bed?
