This comfortable sofa has pocket spring seat cushions with high resilience foam and a top layer of wadding. It provides a nice comfort and support for your body while maintaining the shape of the seat cushions.
The contact surfaces are covered with GRANN – a soft, smooth and strong grain leather with natural variations. Other surfaces are covered with BOMSTAD, a coated fabric that has a similar look and feel to leather.
The sofa's sections can be combined in different ways to get a size and shape that suits you. If you need a larger sofa, you can add a section or two.
Storage space under the chaise. The lid stays open so you can safely and easily take things in and out.
You can place the chaise section to the left or right of the sofa, and switch whenever you like.
The sleeper sofa has a 4¾" thick bed mattress in high resilience foam that provides comfortable support to your body and a smooth sleeping surface without disturbing joints.
The bed slats work together with the mattress to give a more flexible comfort and nice sleep support.
This sofa converts quickly and easily into a spacious bed when you remove the back cushions and pull out the underframe. You can use the sofa's back cushions to get a comfortable back support to lean against in the bed.
The mattress cover is easy to keep clean as it is removable and can be machine washed.

Posted on Aug 26, 2023I've had my Finalla sleeper sofa for a few months now, and I'm having trouble converting it into a bed. The back cushions don't seem to be coming out easily. Is there a specific technique or trick to removing them?

Answered on Aug 28, 2023To remove the back cushions on the FINNALA sleeper sofa and convert it into a bed, follow these steps:
1. First, make sure you have removed any items or accessories that may be on the back cushions or in the storage compartment under the chaise.
2. Locate the zippers on the back cushions. Carefully unzip the cushions to detach them from the sofa frame.
3. Once the zippers are undone, gently pull the back cushions away from the sofa. They should come off easily without requiring excessive force.
4. With the back cushions removed, you can then pull out the underframe to convert the sofa into a bed. Make sure to pull it out all the way until it is fully extended.
5. You can then use the back cushions to provide back support while lying on the bed.

Answered on Jul 06, 2023To get the sleeper sofa to fold out smoothly:
1. Make sure there are no obstructions underneath the sofa that could be preventing the underframe from extending fully. Clear the area around the sofa.
2. Gently pull the back cushions off the sofa to expose the underframe. Slowly and carefully pull the underframe out, guiding the mattress as it extends.
3. If the mattress still seems stuck, try lifting the front edge of the mattress slightly as you pull the underframe out. This can help it slide out more easily.
The bed slats on this FINNALA sleeper sofa are removable for cleaning and maintenance. You can simply lift them out to access the underside of the mattress. Be sure to put them back in properly when reassembling the bed.
If you continue to have issues, I'd recommend reviewing the assembly instructions or contacting IKEA customer service for further troubleshooting. They should be able to provide more specific guidance

Posted on Mar 31, 2023I'm considering purchasing the Finnala sleeper sofa, but I have a question about the chaise lounge. Can you please confirm if the chaise can be placed on either side of the sofa and still function properly?

Answered on Apr 02, 2023Yes, the chaise section of the FINNALA sleeper sofa can be placed on either the left or right side of the sofa and it will still function properly. The product description states: "You can place the chaise section to the left or right of the sofa, and switch whenever you like."
