Wood veneer gives you the same look, feel and beauty as solid wood with unique variations in grain, color and texture.
This versatile bed frame will look great with your choice of textiles and bedroom furniture.
You can sit up comfortably in bed thanks to the high headboard – just prop some pillows behind your back and you will have a comfortable place to read or watch TV.
You can easily vacuum under the bed frame to keep the space clean and dust-free.
Adjustable bed sides allow you to use mattresses of different thicknesses.
LURÖY slatted bed base with curved slats helps to absorb your body weight and supports your body, while the open construction allows air to circulate and keeps the mattress fresh.
A clean design with solid wood veneer. Place the bed on its own or with the headboard against a wall. If you need space for extra bedding, add MALM bed storage boxes on casters.

Posted on Dec 23, 2023I have just assembled the MALM bed frame and I am having trouble getting the headboard to stay in place. The screws seem to be loose and it keeps falling forward. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

Answered on Dec 25, 2023The issue with the loose headboard on your MALM bed frame is likely due to the screws not being properly tightened during the assembly process. Here are the steps to fix this:
1. Ensure all the screws connecting the headboard to the bed frame are fully tightened. Use a screwdriver to go through each screw and tighten them securely.
2. Check that the holes in the headboard and bed frame are properly aligned. If the holes don't line up, you may need to slightly adjust the position of the headboard.
3. If the screws still feel loose after tightening, you can try adding some wood glue to the screw holes before reinserting the screws. This will help the screws grip the wood better.
4. As a last resort, you can replace the screws with slightly longer ones that will have more grip in the wood. Be careful not to overtighten and damage the headboard.
Following these steps should help stabilize the headboard and prevent it from falling forward. Let me know if you have any other questions

Posted on Oct 04, 2023I've noticed that my Malm bed frame has a few scratches on the surface. Is there a specific cleaning product recommended for wood veneer surfaces to avoid damaging the finish?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Oct 06, 2023For the MALM bed frame with wood veneer finish, I would recommend using a mild wood furniture cleaner or polish. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasives, as these could potentially damage the veneer surface. A gentle, water-based cleaner formulated for wood furniture is your best bet to safely clean and protect the finish without causing any further scratches or damage. Apply the cleaner with a soft, lint-free cloth and buff gently to restore the luster of the wood veneer

Posted on Oct 22, 2022I just assembled my Malm bed frame and I'm having trouble getting the slats to fit properly onto the bed base. The instructions seem unclear, can you provide more detailed steps on how to attach them?

Answered on Oct 24, 2022To properly attach the LURÖY slatted bed base to the MALM bed frame, follow these steps:
1. Ensure the bed frame is fully assembled and in the desired position.
2. Locate the curved slats that are part of the LURÖY slatted bed base. These should have been included in the packaging.
3. Starting at one end, gently place the curved end of each slat into the corresponding slot on the bed frame. Make sure the slats are evenly spaced across the width of the frame.
4. Firmly press down on each slat to ensure it is securely in place. You may need to apply some force to get them to fit properly.
5. Once all the slats are in place, do a final check to make sure they are evenly distributed and tightly secured.
If you continue to have trouble, double-check that you have all the necessary parts and that the bed frame is fully assembled correctly. Let me know if you have any other questions
