Posted on Sep 22, 2022How do I remove the slats from the LURÖY slatted bed base to clean underneath? Are they held in place by clips or screws?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Sep 24, 2022The LURÖY slatted bed base that comes with the HEMNES bed frame has curved slats that are not held in place by clips or screws. Instead, the slats are designed to simply rest on the bed frame without any additional fasteners.
To remove the slats for cleaning, you can gently lift each one out of the bed frame. Start at one end and work your way across, lifting the slats out one by one. Be careful not to force or pull on them, as they are not meant to be permanently attached.
Once you have removed all the slats, you can clean the area underneath the bed frame. When you're done, simply place the slats back into the frame, making sure they are evenly spaced and resting securely on the frame
