Posted on Sep 05, 2023I recently purchased the HEMNES bed frame with storage boxes and I'm having trouble opening one of the drawers. The drawer is stuck and I can't pull it out. What could be causing this issue? Are there any tips or tricks to help me open the drawer smoothly?

Answered on Sep 07, 2023The most common reason for a stuck drawer on the HEMNES bed frame is that the drawer slides or runners are misaligned. Here are a few troubleshooting steps to help:
First, make sure the drawer is not overloaded. Check that there are no obstructions preventing the drawer from sliding open smoothly.
Next, inspect the drawer slides or runners. Ensure they are properly installed and not damaged. You may need to adjust the alignment of the slides to allow the drawer to glide open easily.
If the slides seem fine, try lubricating them with a silicone-based furniture polish or wax. This can help reduce friction and allow the drawer to open and close more smoothly.
Lastly, check that the drawer front is properly secured and not warped, as this can also cause binding. You may need to slightly loosen or tighten the screws holding the drawer front in place.
With a little troubleshooting, you should be able to get that stuck drawer operating smoothly again
