I'm considering purchasing the HEMNES bed frame with storage, but I have a few questions. Are the storage boxes designed to hold heavier items, such as luggage or books, or are they more suited for smaller items like clothes and linens? Additionally, are the drawers easy to slide in and out, or do they require some effort to open and close?

The storage boxes under the HEMNES bed frame are designed to hold heavier items such as luggage or books. The solid wood construction and large size of the drawers (7 1/8" height and 25 1/4" depth) make them suitable for storing bulkier belongings.
