Posted on Dec 30, 2022I have just assembled the HEMNES bed frame and I'm having trouble getting the drawers to slide in smoothly. Are there any tips or tricks to help them glide in more easily? Additionally, are the slats of the LURÖY slatted bed base adjustable or fixed in place?

Answered on Jan 01, 2023The drawers may not be sliding in smoothly due to misalignment or obstructions. Here are some tips to help:
- Ensure the drawer slides are properly installed and aligned. Check that the slides are securely attached to both the drawer and the bed frame.
- Make sure there are no obstructions or debris preventing the drawer from sliding in easily. Wipe down the slides and the inside of the drawer cavity.
- Try lubricating the drawer slides with a silicone-based lubricant or paraffin wax. This can help reduce friction and make the drawers glide more smoothly.
Regarding the LURÖY slatted bed base, the slats are fixed in place and not adjustable. The curved slats are designed to provide flexible support and allow air circulation, but they do not need to be adjusted. As long as the bed base is properly assembled, the slats should remain in their intended fixed position

Posted on Jul 05, 2022I love the design and functionality of this bed frame! I have a question about assembling it, though. Are the storage boxes attached to the bed frame or are they freestanding?
Can you provide instructions on how to attach them if they're not already fixed in place?

Answered on Jul 07, 2022The storage boxes on the HEMNES bed frame are not attached to the bed frame itself. They are freestanding units that can be placed underneath the bed.
To attach the storage boxes, follow these steps:
1. Assemble the bed frame according to the instructions provided.
2. Once the bed frame is fully assembled, place the storage boxes in the desired position underneath the bed.
3. Make sure the boxes are aligned properly and not obstructing any of the bed frame components.
4. Secure the boxes in place if needed, using any provided hardware or by applying friction against the bed frame.
