Posted on Oct 08, 2022I'm considering purchasing this HEMNES bed frame, but I have a few questions before making the decision. Can you confirm if the slatted bed base is adjustable? If not, are the slats removable and can they be reconfigured to accommodate a thicker mattress?

Answered on Oct 10, 2022The HEMNES bed frame comes with the LÖNSET slatted bed base, which is not adjustable. However, the slats are removable and can be reconfigured to accommodate a thicker mattress. The open construction of the LÖNSET base allows air to circulate and keeps the mattress fresh, while the curved slats and comfort zones help keep your spine aligned. If you need to use a thicker mattress, you can simply remove some of the slats to provide the necessary clearance
