Posted on Apr 11, 2024I've noticed that the storage boxes are a bit difficult to slide out from under the bed. Is there any trick or technique to make them easier to roll in and out?

Answered on Apr 13, 2024To make the storage boxes easier to roll in and out, here are a few tips:
1. Check the castors on the bottom of the storage boxes. Ensure they are rolling smoothly and not stuck or obstructed. You can try cleaning the castors or replacing them if needed.
2. Lubricate the castors and the tracks the boxes slide on. Use a silicone-based lubricant or furniture polish to reduce friction and allow the boxes to glide more easily.
3. Adjust the leveling of the bed frame. Make sure the bed is level on the floor, as uneven surfaces can make it harder to roll the boxes in and out smoothly.
4. Reduce the weight or contents of the storage boxes. Overfilling them can make them more difficult to slide. Try to keep the boxes within the recommended weight capacity.
5. If the issue persists, you may want to contact IKEA customer service for further troubleshooting advice specific to your HAUGA bed frame

Posted on Dec 09, 2022I have the HAUGA Upholstered bed with storage boxes and I love it. However, I'm having some issues with the storage boxes. They don't seem to be lining up properly under the bed frame. Is there a specific way to adjust or align them so they fit snugly?

Posted on Oct 07, 2022I've noticed that the storage boxes are quite small. Can I purchase larger storage boxes separately or are they only available as part of this specific bed frame package?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Oct 09, 2022The storage boxes that come with the HAUGA Upholstered bed frame are not available separately. They are specifically designed to fit under this particular bed frame and cannot be purchased individually in larger sizes. The dimensions of the internal storage boxes are fixed at 36 1/4" (92 cm) wide, 23 1/4" (59 cm) deep, and 5 7/8" (15 cm) high. If you require larger storage space under the bed, your only option would be to consider a different IKEA bed frame that offers more sizeable under-bed storage solutions
