This comfortable sofa has pocket spring seat cushions with high resilience foam and a top layer of wadding. It provides a nice comfort and support for your body while maintaining the shape of the seat cushions.
The sofa's sections can be combined in different ways to get a size and shape that suits you. If you need a larger sofa, you can add a section or two.
The sleeper sofa has a 4¾" thick bed mattress in high resilience foam that provides comfortable support to your body and a smooth sleeping surface without disturbing joints.
The bed slats work together with the mattress to give a more flexible comfort and nice sleep support.
This sofa converts quickly and easily into a spacious bed when you remove the back cushions and pull out the underframe. You can use the sofa's back cushions to get a comfortable back support to lean against in the bed.
The mattress is easy to keep clean since you can remove the mattress cover and machine wash it.
Tallmyra is a hardwearing chenille cover made of cotton and polyester and has a soft surface and a slightly reflective luster.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and machine washable.

Answered on Jun 06, 2023The mattress of the FINNALA Sleeper sofa can be replaced if it gets damaged or worn out. To replace the mattress, you would need to follow these steps:
1. Remove the back cushions and pull out the underframe to access the mattress.
2. Detach the mattress from the sofa frame by removing any fasteners or velcro that secures it.
3. Measure the dimensions of the existing mattress to ensure you purchase a replacement that fits the sofa frame properly. The mattress dimensions are 59 7/8" width x 79 1/2" length x 4 3/4" thickness.
4. Carefully place the new mattress onto the sofa frame and secure it using any fasteners or velcro required.
5. Reattach the back cushions and push the underframe back into place.
IKEA offers replacement mattresses for their sleeper sofas, so you should be able to purchase a compatible replacement directly from IKEA. Be sure to measure carefully and follow the instructions to ensure a proper fit and safe installation of the new mattress
