KIVIK 1-seat sofa-bed is a snug and easy-to-place sofa during the day – and simple to make into a comfortable bed at night.
The sofa-bed has a compact design that allows you to fit both an extra seat and overnight guests in a small area.
The seat cushions made of pocket springs, high-resilience foam and polyester fiber mold to your body and provide firm support and comfortable softness, both when sitting up and lying down.
The seat and back cushions are used to create the bed, which means they are out of the way when the sofa is transformed into a sleeping space.
KIVIK 1-seat sofa-bed has a distinct design language and a silhouette like the sofas in the series, while the design without armrests gives it its own strong personality.
Pocket springs are a durable solution that makes the sofa retain both its shape and comfort for many years.
Tallmyra is a hardwearing chenille cover made of cotton and polyester and has a soft surface and a slightly reflective luster.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.
10-year guarantee. Read about the terms in the guarantee brochure.

Answered on Oct 20, 2023To troubleshoot the issue with the back cushions getting stuck and not allowing the KIVIK 1-seat sofa-bed to convert from a seat to a bed, try the following:
1. Ensure that the sofa is placed on a level and stable surface. An uneven floor can sometimes cause the mechanism to get stuck.
2. Gently pull the back cushions straight up, applying even pressure across the entire width. Avoid twisting or pulling too hard, as this could damage the mechanism.
3. Check that there are no obstructions or debris preventing the cushions from moving freely. Remove any foreign objects that may be interfering with the mechanism.
4. If the cushions are still stuck, you may need to slightly loosen the screws that attach the back to the frame. Be careful not to overtighten them when putting it back together.
5. As a last resort, you can try lubricating the mechanism with a silicone-based furniture polish or lubricant. Apply it sparingly and work the mechanism back and forth to help free up any stuck parts.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, please let me know and I can provide further assistance

Posted on May 05, 2023I recently purchased the KIVIK 1-seat sleeper sofa, Tallmyra white/black, and I'm having some issues with the seat cushions. They seem to be a bit too firm for my liking. Are there any tips or tricks to make them softer? Additionally, are the pocket springs removable for maintenance purposes?
