Posted on Jul 24, 2022I have just received the Hauga storage combination with drawers and I love it. However, I am having trouble opening one of the drawers from the bottom. The castors are not allowing me to pull it out fully. Is there a trick or specific technique that I need to use to open it properly?

Posted on Jul 17, 2022I have assembled the Hauga storage combination, but I am having trouble getting the drawers to slide smoothly. There is a slight resistance when opening and closing them. What could be causing this issue?

Answered on Jul 19, 2022The most common reason for drawers not sliding smoothly is improper installation of the drawer slides. Here are a few things you can check:
1. Ensure the drawer slides are properly aligned and secured to both the cabinet frame and the drawer sides. The slides should be level and parallel to each other.
2. Check that the drawers are not overloaded. Excessive weight in the drawers can cause them to bind and stick.
3. Inspect the drawer slides for any obstructions or debris that may be preventing smooth movement. Wipe down the slides with a clean cloth to remove any dirt or dust.
4. Verify that the drawers are installed correctly and are not rubbing against the cabinet frame. The drawers should have a small clearance on all sides.
