1. Clean the surface thoroughly before installation. Make sure the area is free of dust, grease, or any other debris that could prevent the adhesive from sticking properly.
2. Use the included mounting clips to securely attach the lighting strip to the underside of the wall cabinets. The clips will provide a more stable and permanent hold compared to just relying on the adhesive backing.
3. Apply even pressure along the entire length of the lighting strip when pressing it into place. This will help the adhesive bond evenly and create a smooth, seamless look.
4. Consider using additional mounting hardware, such as small screws or nails, to further secure the lighting strip if the adhesive alone is not holding it in place.
5. If you need to adjust the positioning, do so carefully before the adhesive sets completely, which typically takes around 24 hours.
