Posted on Mar 31, 2023Can I install the Skytta/Aurdal walk-in wardrobe on a uneven floor, or do I need to level it first?

Posted on Feb 11, 2023I've just installed my Skytta/Aurdal walk-in wardrobe and the sliding doors don't seem to be aligned properly. The right side door is a bit higher than the left one. Is there an adjustment mechanism or should I contact Ikea customer support?

Answered on Feb 13, 2023The SKYTTA / AURDAL walk-in wardrobe has an adjustment mechanism for the sliding doors to ensure proper alignment. Here are the steps to adjust the door height:
1. Locate the adjustment screws on the top of the door frame. There should be one screw on each side.
2. Using a screwdriver, turn the adjustment screw on the side with the higher door. Turn it counterclockwise to lower that door.
3. Adjust the screw slowly and check the door alignment after each turn until the doors are level.
4. If you are unable to get the doors properly aligned, you may need to contact IKEA customer support for further assistance.
The adjustment screws allow you to fine-tune the door height and ensure a smooth, even sliding motion. With a little adjustment, you should be able to get the doors aligned without issue
