Posted on Nov 01, 2023I have recently purchased this PAX wardrobe combination and I am having trouble with one of the drawers being difficult to open/close. Can you please provide instructions on how to adjust or lubricate the drawer slides?

Answered on Nov 03, 2023To adjust or lubricate the drawer slides on your PAX wardrobe combination, follow these steps:
1. First, fully extend the drawer that is difficult to open/close.
2. Locate the small adjustment screws on the drawer slides. These are usually located on the side or underside of the slides.
3. Using a small screwdriver, turn the adjustment screws clockwise to tighten the slides and make the drawer easier to open and close. Turn the screws slowly and test the drawer after each small adjustment.
4. If the drawer is still sticking, you can try lubricating the slides. Apply a small amount of silicone-based furniture lubricant or wax to the moving parts of the slides.
5. Wipe away any excess lubricant and test the drawer again to ensure smooth operation.
If adjusting the screws and lubricating the slides does not resolve the issue, there may be a more serious problem with the drawer mechanism. In that case, you may need to contact IKEA customer service for further assistance
