You can easily adapt this ready-made PAX/KOMPLEMENT combination to suit your needs and taste using the PAX planning tool.

Hinges with integrated dampers catch the door and close it slowly, silently and softly
With the PAX Planner, you can easily complete your combination with integrated lighting. After choosing the light source, the planner will work out which accessories you need to complete the solution.
Here's space for both long and short garments. Only have shirts the same length? It's easy to add drawers or baskets if you want.
This solution will hold at least 60 clothes hangers - and that's just what you will fit on the clothes rails!

Posted on May 31, 2023Can you please provide instructions on how to assemble this PAX wardrobe combination? Specifically, I'm having trouble with the door hinges and dampers - they're not catching the door properly, causing it to swing open too easily.

1. Ensure the hinges are properly installed and secured to both the door and the cabinet frame. The hinges should be tightly screwed in place.
2. Check the dampers to make sure they are correctly positioned and attached. The dampers should be integrated into the hinges and provide a smooth, controlled closing motion.
3. Adjust the hinge tension by turning the screws on the hinges. This will allow you to fine-tune the closing mechanism and prevent the door from swinging open too easily.
4. If the dampers are not functioning correctly, you may need to replace them. Spare parts can be ordered from IKEA.
5. Verify that the door is properly aligned within the cabinet frame. Make any necessary adjustments to the door placement to ensure a smooth, even closing motion.
