Posted on Jun 02, 2023I'm having trouble closing one of the doors. The door is slightly misaligned and keeps catching on the frame when I try to close it. Is there a way to adjust or fix this issue?

Answered on Jun 04, 2023The door can likely be adjusted to resolve the misalignment issue. Here are the steps to adjust the door:
1. Locate the hinges on the door that is misaligned. There are typically 2-3 hinges per door.
2. Use a screwdriver to slightly loosen the screws on the hinges. This will allow you to shift the door's position.
3. Gently push or pull the door to align it properly within the frame. Make small adjustments until the door closes smoothly without catching.
4. Once aligned, tighten the hinge screws back up to secure the door in the new position.
If the door is still catching after adjusting the hinges, you may need to make additional adjustments to the strike plate on the frame. Loosen the screws, shift the strike plate as needed, then retighten.
With some minor adjustments to the hinges and strike plate, you should be able to resolve the misalignment and get the door closing properly again
