Answered on Mar 19, 2023Yes, it is possible to add more brackets to the BOAXEL shelving unit to increase its storage capacity. Here's how you can do it:
The BOAXEL system is designed to be modular and customizable, allowing you to add more brackets and shelves as needed. To add more brackets, you'll need to purchase additional BOAXEL brackets. The part number for the BOAXEL bracket is 003.804.47.
To install the additional brackets, simply click them onto the vertical uprights of the existing BOAXEL frame. Make sure to space the brackets evenly along the uprights to ensure stability. You can then add more shelves by clicking them onto the new brackets.
Keep in mind that the maximum weight capacity for each BOAXEL shelf is 22 lbs (10 kg). Be sure not to overload the shelves to avoid any safety issues

1. Locate the wall studs and mark the bracket positions. If there are no studs, you will need to use wall anchors.
2. For drywall walls, use plastic wall anchors and screws that are rated for the weight of the shelving unit. Drill pilot holes and insert the wall anchors before screwing in the brackets.
3. For concrete or brick walls, use concrete wall anchors and screws. Drill the appropriate size holes and insert the concrete anchors before screwing in the brackets.
